Turkey Ham Potato Chowder

"Turkey Ham Potato Chowder"

Ingredientes:

• 2 cups FUD Turkey Ham (diced)
• 3 cups potatoes (diced)
• 1 cup celery (sliced)
• 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
• 4 cups chicken stock
• 2 cups water
• 2 teaspoons chicken broth
• 1/2 salt
• 2 cups buttermilk
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch
• 1 tablespoon parsley (chopped)
• 4 sprig thyme (plus extra for garnish)

Preparation/
Preparación:

1. Put on pot the chicken stock, water, hickory salt, potatoes, celery, broth and turkey ham, and bring to boil.
2. Reduce heat, cook until potatoes are soft not mushy.
3. Dissolve cornstarch into buttermilk. Add to pot.
4. Bring to a boil add thyme. Boil 1 minute stirring constantly.
5. Remove from heat. Stir in parsley. Remove thyme before serving.
